Advertising Consultant

American City Business Journals Silicon Valley market is looking to expand its team of advertising sales leaders with an excellent opportunity in our advertising department. American City Business Journals is the largest publisher of metropolitan business newsweeklies in the United States, with 40+ business journals across the country. 

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to succeed in digital ad sales, print ad sales, niche publishing sales and event sponsorship. Experience in some or all is preferred, but not required - we are willing to train the right individual.

The ideal candidate will need to be disciplined, focused, a self-starter and be a strong critical thinker. This candidate must also be very organized and be able to adapt and multi-task in a fast moving organization.

Minimum Job Requirements – B2B sales(digital/print media preferred), strong computer skills(MS Office, Outlook, Excel and CRM software/Sales Force) and the ability to work independently. Attendance at after-hours business events is expected.
