    Job Description:

    This high visibility position reports directly to the division president, and oversees sales and marketing, along with most of operations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a P&L of $100M+ with strategic planning capabillties.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design, implement and facilitate the long and middle long term plan of the Business with respect to the Marketing & Sales strategy (including market segment, sector and subsector as well as product management).
    • Contributes to strategy development, budgeting and resources planning of the Business through participation in the Business Management Team.
    • Development and implementation of Annual Business plans and Budgeting process including Sales forecasts.
    • Has full involvement in the S&IOP process
    • Coordinates with the regional sales teams on commercial decisions (including pricing, credit terms, service levels and technical support. Focuses on Strategic sales initiatives in line with the corporate strategy.
    • Keeps contact with the stakeholders, highest level of key customers and function/authorities relevant to the sector.
    • Manages performance and continuously develops talent in the Sales & Marketing organization (including, succession planning, recruitment, people development, etc.).
    • Ensures regular budget reviews and deployment of corrective action plans.
    • Ensures effective cost control and strict adherence to the Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
    • Ensures compliance with the corporate governance policies including - but not restricted to Business Principles, HS&E, and legal compliance.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • University Degree preferably in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
    • MBA from accredited institution (pref)
    • Broad knowledge/experience (10 years) in Sales & Marketing
    • Strong people management experience (5-7 years)
    • Strong customer focus
    • Results oriented
    • Able to stand pressure
    • Strategic and creative thinking
    • Negotiation and influencing skills
    • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate at all levels
    • Analytical approach to problem solving
