Area Operations Manger:
Our client is a multi-billion dollar Fortune ranked company looking for an Area Operations Manager in multiple locations. Successful candidates will be responsible for managing production volume for a group of departments within a well-organized union environment, while maintaining quality & service standards.
Candidates must have the ability to develop and manage a team of 4+ supervisors and over 150 unionized employees. In addition, strong interpersonal skills are required for interaction with ops areas within the Distribution Center as well as with the merchandising and transportation departments, in an effort to maximize customer satisfaction.
To maintain quality standards throughout the distribution centers, communication with the internal and external customers is often needed. The ideal candidate will have proven track record in staff development, quality initiatives, process improvements, and budget management.
This position reports to the Assistant General Manager and is considered a part of the Senior Management Team.
