The responsibilities of the IT Analyst – Business Systems include the following:

1.     Evaluate application / system needs (30%):

Work collaboratively with individuals across the organization to:

Identify system needs

Interview users

Document business requirements

Prioritize enhancements / new system requests

Recommend system solutions or enhancements

 

2.     Develop, test and modify systems used by internal employees. (40%)

Design systems, modules and/or approaches and required enhancements

Create system overview diagrams and business flowcharts

Code, review, test, debug and manage implementation of new systems and application enhancements.

3.     Produce system and user documentation (10%)

4.     Assist with the design and modification of internal database systems required for the effective functioning of internal departments (10%)

5.     Maintain and enhance technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems analysis, programming and database technology. (10%)

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

·         Three to five years experience

 

·         Experience with MS SQL Server (Stored Procedures, SSRS and SSIS) Visual Basic .Net or Visual C# .Net, ASP, ASP.Net, VBScript, Javascript (2-3 years)

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Excellent business analysis / troubleshooting skills

·         Ability to handle multiple projects

·         Experience in supporting 3rd party and/or externally hosted applications as an IT Analyst / Systems Consultant a plus
