Job Description:

Immediate Opening in Wilmington, NC (28411)
Field Service Technician for small cableTV/ internet/telecom service provider.

Starting Pay Rate $16-20/hour based on experience. Flexible 20-30+ hours/week with significant growth potential. Excellent customer presence required. Minimum one year experience with structured cabling installation, RF cable testing and/or network management.

Testing and installation of twisted pair, coax, single mode fiber optical cable.
On-site customer work order completion involves installation of modem, set-top box, testing and assistance with LAN. Trouble-shooting and on-call response required.

PC skills required. Prefer some experience with Cisco, Adtran, Asterisk/Linux, Cable TV headend, & home security systems. Applicant should enjoy technology, have excellent communication skills and provide exceptional customer facing service.

Additional occasional work in Jacksonville, NC. Transportation required.
