Chemical Plant Process Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree or higher in chemical engineering - 7-10 years chemical process industrial experience with some project management skills and experience in a PSM regulated facility. Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience would be advantageous. Desirable: Experience with fired steam generation and/or liquid waste incinerators Working knowledge of engineering codes and standards.

DUTIES:
Provide engineering support and assistance as necessary to develop and implement process improvement programs, including up-time, cycle time, mechanical reliability, yield, energy reduction and waste minimization while maintaining and improving operability and cost effectiveness of production. Will also troubleshoot process problems; Monitoring process performance and providing process metrics as required;Provide engineering support for introduction of process changes
