Wesley Homes is currently seeking a full time Compliance Coordinator in our Corporate Offices on our Des Moines campus. The Compliance Coordinator plans and completes various audits concerning ongoing compliance with regulatory, safety, and compliance related issues. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist in Enterprise Risk oversight and projects, development and updates of policies and procedures, maintenance of employee license and continuing education database, goal-based reporting, and special projects, as requested.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the design and development of audit plans and conduct audits for regulatory, safety and compliance related issues
Monitor changes in regulations and other healthcare related issues to ensure that the organization is up-to-date on regulatory/safety/compliance related issues
Collaborate with leadership to design, develop and communicate corporate policies and procedures. Maintain corporate policies and procedures
Recommend changes to processes, policies and procedures based upon understanding of systems and results of audits
Maintain a database of employees, tracking up-to-date licenses, required training, etc. and proactively identifying actions that need to be taken
Coordinate corporate ethics and business code of conduct training and annual acknowledgements
Coordinate annual updates of business associate agreements to ensure all privacy concerns, requirements, and responsibilities are addressed.
Assist in the development and monitoring of enterprise risk management assessments.
Assistance with special projects, as requested
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education Background
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Current and valid Washington State driver’s License and unexpired vehicle insurance required.
Special Training/Skills
Ability to develop and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders, working with them collaboratively to affect improvements.
Possess proven communication skills to effectively consult with administration, department managers, and other representatives in order to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss process, procedures, and policy changes.
Strong organizational skills to monitor multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate results of audits, new regulations, etc. and identify necessary changes.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to focus on all aspects of regulatory, compliance, and safety issues and identify issues and necessary changes.
Strong computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Ability to read and write English proficiently.
Work Experience
Three or more years of professional work experience in a business or healthcare setting in an analytical role preferred
Experience with healthcare compliance preferred
