Growing General Contractor looking for Construction Project Superintendent in the Carlsbad Ca area with at least five (5) plus years in the Commercial Construction Industry. Grocery and big box experience preferred. Hands on construction experience with trade knowledge including ability to read and comprehend blueprints at expert level, schedule multiple trades and meet client expectations. Have the ability to present oneself in a professional and knowledgeable manner to clients. Be able to organize details, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines. Responsible for keeping commitments and maintaining communication with Project Manager, thru email, photos, excel and smart phones. Identify and advise PM of all construction related change orders. Schedule and meet with city officials as required and have knowledge of general building codes and building permit process. Develop working relationships with subs and vendors to ensure material is available on time. Work hours may include weekend work. Position may also require travel.
