Essential:
BA in English, Journalism, or Communications
Full-time experience copy editing online content: minimum 3 years and preferably 5+ years
Minimum 8 years of working as a copy editor, plus experience as a proofreader
Experience with financial services online content or print materials
Experience integrating SEO techniques
Experience Social Media and Mobile content
Ability to represent editorial group in high-level discussions with senior managers
Great attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date records
Ability to manage several projects at different stages of development
Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders
Advanced copy-editing and proofreading skills
Expert-level experience with Chicago Manual of Style (preferred), or expert-level experience with AP, New York Times, or Words into Type style High comfort level with computers and technology
