Reporting to the Director of IT the Data Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of the Health Plan IT Interface Analyst team, Health Plan ETL processes and the planning and oversight of Health Plan Data integration activities. Provides leadership in the design, implementation and maintenance of Health Plan information Data/reporting repositories. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of planning, system testing, design, development, implementation and evaluations of Data platforms supporting and interacting with Health Plan core applications. Works with Health Plan departments to identify opportunities for work process improvement and to serve as a resource in Health Plan departmental planning so as to develop integrated systems and meet strategic initiatives.
Individual understands a system approach to problem solving, has solid understanding of Database structures and Structured Query Language (SQL). Working knowledge of SQL Server and SQL Server Database administration. Familiarity with Oracle and ideally Epic/Clarity experience.

Must have a general knowledge of all facets of Sanford Health Plan and the Information Systems Department. Must be familiar with the health insurance industry and concepts.
Experienced, in managing a technical team in a SQL Server environment. In-depth SQL Server experience; ideal candidate will also have some Oracle knowledge. Background in planning and managing complex ETL and interface development and designing methodologies to merge Data from disparate source systems. Ability to interact with both IT and end-user staffs. Health insurance and/or Epic Clarity are additional key skill sets for this position.
