Director Critical Care/ACNO

Large hospital located in central IL has an opening for an experienced Nursing Director with Critical Care experience to move into an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer position.  
The Director of Critical Care/ACNO will be the Administrative Director of ICU/PCU, 2nd Surgical, and Nursing Resources. This is a registered professional nurse with advanced educational preparation who provides for the administration, direction, planning, implementation, facilitation and evaluation of patient care provided in the ICU, PCU, and 2nd Surgical Unit programs.

This position ensures incorporation of nursing theory in the development and implementation of the philosophy, policy, procedures, objectives and patient care standards.
This position serves as the assistant to the Chief Nursing Officer and, therefore, functions as an administrative representative of the hospital. This position also manages the position control system for Patient Care Division and the Float Pool.

Must have at least 5 years of progressive Nurse Management experience and clinical experience in Critical Care.
Requires a BSN and Master's Degree.
