Job Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining automated plant operations in eight states. The expectations will be to consistently strive to train professional personnel and maintain equipment without unscheduled down time. The focus of maintenance is to maintain product quality through a “top notch” preventive maintenance program.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
• Electrical/ mechanical maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Ability to manage and support engineering teams.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance program.
• Works with other associates in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation to accomplish goals.
• Maintains cleanliness standards throughout company.
• Assists in other areas and/or departments as requested.
Competencies
Technical: 15-20 years plant maintenance experience to include
• Experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electronics
• Ability to weld either: Stick, TIG, MIG or Oxygen and Acetylene
• Ability to rebuild the following.
• Air cylinders.
• 4-way Solenoid valves.
• Steam traps.
• Motor starters.
• Sloan valves.
• Gear reducers.
• Variable speed-drive GE or a Reeves Drive.
• Rebuild suction and discharge valves on an air compressor.
• Experience with gas or oil fired boilers.
• Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of management.
• Must be a self-starter who is good at identifying & leveraging opportunities as they arise.
• Must have a positive attitude and be team oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.

Other Requirements
• Able to work overtime including Saturdays, able to maintain work schedule, good attendance and punctuality.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass drug screen whenever required.
