    Our client is a highly respected and well known Consumer Packaged Goods (beverage) company. Opportunities for rapid advancement within this world class organization abound! The client currently has an opportunity as a District Sales Manager Designate in the locations listed in this posting.

    Job Description:

    Candidates will be go through the leadership training for approximately 3 to 6 months. During this time, they will manage 1-2 others. After the training is complete, they will be assigned a team to manage. The “designate” portion of the title will be dropped and the new Manager will be assigned a team of 10-12 others to manage. Candidates who are willing to relocate to other areas of CA may be promoted more quickly than others, but this is not always the case.

    As a District Sales Manager, the candidate will have the responsibility of directly leading their own outside sales team of 10-15 others to drive for superior marketplace execution and customer service, share growth and profit performance. This position contributes to the success of our Client by maximizing volume and revenue performance in a pre-determined territory.     Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

    • Maximize volume and revenue in a pre-determined territory.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with customers.
    • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
    • Coach and lead a team of sales representatives on selling and display execution, merchandising standards, and ensure accurate and timely orders are submitted.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree or higher required.
    • Must be professional, articulate and able to positively influence others.
    • Must have competent basic computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Previous consumer packaged goods sales experience a plus but not mandatory.
    • A minimum of 2 years of fact-based direct selling experience.
    • Previous supervisory experience desired; or a past track record of having been in leadership roles on various work, sports or community teams.

    Compensation:

    $55,000 - $65,000 plus mileage reimbursement at government max (grossed up), stock grants, matching 401K, medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and more!
