Embedded Software Engineer

Our Client, a premier global manufacturer is seeking a Senior Engineer to develop embedded software solutions for electric and hydraulic drive applications for agricultural related equipment.

Key responsibilities in this position include:

Develop and support implementation and integration of control software into vehicle embedded controllers.
Perform embedded systems engineering tasks including requirements analysis, operational concept development, system design, component integration, design reviews, and vehicle platform testing and problem solving.
Support software development on machines operating in the field.
Resolve technical issues involving the integration of software application with electric/hydraulic drive control systems.
Assign, coordinate, and provide work direction to software developers in multiple locations.

Preferred qualifications and experience include:

Strong communicator possessing excellent problem-solving capabilities with a Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control System Engineering
along with 3 years of experience in Embedded Software development systems using C.
Experience in electric motor control software development.
Experience with Matlab/Simulink and autocoding.
Experience in project management.
Experienced in working in a self-directed environment.
Experienced with application development using Real-Time Operating Systems.
Experienced with vehicle based network communication protocols and debugging tools. A strong candidate will also have experience with CAN debugging tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or CANgraph.
