Currently searching for all level BMETS (including Manager) for one of our client hospital sites in Boise, ID. All BMET candidates MUST HAVE experience servicing general biomedical equipment within a H/C facility.
We do not provide any type of relocation assistance. All candidates applying for this position must reside at least within the State of Idaho.
REQUIREMENTS:
Depend on Levels of BMET I, II, III
BMET I
1. Must have 1-4 years experience and AAS or BS. Degree in related field
2. Performed PM's and Safety Testing on medical equipment
3. Handle minor repairs on medical or electronic equipment, preferably medical equipment.
BMET II
1. Must have 4-10 years experience and an AAS or BS in related field
2. Perform PM's and Safety Testing on medical equipment
3. Repair general biom equipment, specialty equipment a plus
4. Provide in-service training
BMET III
1. Must have 10+ years experience and an AAS or BS in related field
2. Perform PM's and Safety Testing on medical equipment
3. Repair general biomed equipment, specialty equipment a plus
4. Provide in-service training and evaluate new purchases
5. May supervise others (PM Team)
6. AAMI certification preferred
SITE MANAGER II
1. Must have 10+ years experience in a Site Manager position
2. Hold a BS Degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
3. Perform PM’s and Safety Testing on complex medical equipment
4. Repair various types of complex medical equipment
5. Supervise and manage Biomedical Department
6. Handle Incident Investigation/Risk Management
7. Attend Safety Committee meetings
8. Oversee department development5
9. Provide Clinical in-service training on new and old equipment to all staff
10. Able to cross train technical staff
11. Evaluate new equipment purchases
12. Coordinate with outside vendors
13. Supervise others (Senior Technical Staff)
14. AAMI certification
