Experienced Parser/Translator/Compiler C++ Software Developer

We have been Retained to fill a Parser/Translator development position working on cutting edge technology in a very collaborative, team-oriented environment. Solid, seasoned, developer with good experience developing Parsers or Translators or Compilers -- person will define new grammars as well as expand current grammars and develop multiple Translators. Will also require good C++ experience designing, coding and releasing large, complex, enterprise-level software systems. High standards for technical and interpersonal skills - must have both. • Person MUST have:
--- Experience using grammar/language tools such as Lex, Yacc, Bison, etc.
--- Experience implementing grammars/parsers for database query languages such as SPARQL, SQL, XQuery, MDX
--- Experience defining new grammars for proprietary languages
--- Strong C++ design and development experience
--- Strong systems software development (real-time systems, multi-threading applications)
--- Strong experience developing object-oriented software
--- Demonstrable experience building, delivering, and supporting commercial products
--- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• A plus but NOT required:
--- Experience developing and/or debugging in a Linux environment
--- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
--- Mathematics background

C++ Development Skills:
• Focus is on C++ expertise mastered, not just total years worked
--- could be 5 or 25+ years total experience
--- this is a high bar on current expertise
• Person should have a bare minimum of:
--- 3-5+ years of C++ design and development experience
--- 3-5+ years of systems software development (real-time systems, multi-threading applications)
--- 4-7+ years of experience developing object-oriented software
