DESCRIPTION
Test & Turn up of Ciena/Nortel Optical devices including CN4200, OME6500 and OME5200.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Ensure delivery of quality customer service vital to sustaining and growing clientele base through
the troubleshooting of customer optical networks.
 Facilitate productive communication with customer engineers and regional managers in the
determination of project status and planning.
 Ability to blend strong decision-making abilities with outstanding organizational skills, solid leadership attributes, and successful interpersonal relationship-building techniques
 Generate groundbreaking efficiencies and continuous process improvement to boost bottom-line profitability.
 Knowledgeable with fiber span characterization measurement and analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 Effectively communicate with customer personnel to accomplish his/her responsibilities
 Follow written and verbal instructions without deviation
 Solve problems to maintain work flow and recognize when escalation is appropriate
 Have valid personal driver’s license and dependable means of local transportation
 Be accessible during off duty hours by cell phone or pager
 Maintain an excellent attendance record
 Provide management with advance notification if absence from work is anticipated
 Acknowledge, sign and abide by the Genesis Code of Business Conduct
 Work shifts will be flexible based on coverage of customer personnel.
