Food Packaging Engineer

Job Title: Packaging Engineer
Division: Engineering
Reports to: Senior Packaging Engineer
Job Type: Salary, $65,000
Benefits: Medical, dental, short-term disability, life insurance, & 401K
plan.
Hours: Full Time

Core Competencies:

Strong customer service skills to work closely with customers, vendors, and internal department personnel.
Team building and leadership qualities are needed along with the technical skills.
Solid background in mechanical engineering related to process and manufacturing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiar with Excel, Word, MS Project, and other common PC software tools.
Basic level AutoCAD experience

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Packaging

Experience:

3-5 years of Packaging Engineering experience required

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Knowledge and experience in the food industry
Electrical knowledge is a plus
Basic level AutoCAD experience
Minimum of three years of related experience
