Position summary
Logos is seeking experienced engineers or IT professionals to serve as Forward Service Representative (FSR) on a rapid-reaction sensor fielding. FSRs support numerous sites’ equipment, sensor and exploitation/processing hardware. FSRs will interface frequently with operations team and customer organizations, working with battlefield commanders to best configure assets and maintain systems. In addition, FSRs will interface on a daily basis with a CONUS-based development and operations team, ranging from topics to troubleshooting failed subsystems to recommending and developing system hardening plans and architecture.
Position specifications
As an FSR, you have multiple responsibilities which will require that you:
Configure and maintain operational equipment in support of high-priority, multiple spatially dispersed sensor teams
Communicate effectively with CONUS-based development and support teams
Aid site lead in prepare reports and briefs summarizing system readiness, failure conditions and maintenance requirements
Position requirements
Experience supporting forward deployed technical assets
Technical experience in at least two of the following disciplines: hardware maintenance and configuration, networking, software implementation, Linux scripting, image processing and unmanned sensor maintenance
Strong execution, problem solving skills and possess the ability to operate in an independent environment
Must have experience interfacing with DoD or similar government agency
Must possess a mission-focus and a passion for contributing to overseas contingency operations
US Citizenship and active security clearance required
Special considerations
Must possess a Secret security clearance; and be eligible for Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmental Information (TS/SCI)
Technical (Engineering, Computer Science, etc) bachelor’s degree or higher is highly preferred
