GoAhead Solutions has an immediate need for a Front End Developer in Sunnyvale, CA. This would be a three month contract to start out.
Job Description: This position will carry out development tasks in building web-based application. This position requires front-end web building experience. This position requires strong client-side programming skills, and will be responsible for building out our front-end UI, using Javascript/JQuery, Ajax, CSS, JSON and HTML5. We are looking for a highly motivated individual. This person will be working on a small team in a cubicle space.
Primary Job Duties: Work with both business partners and project leads to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical tasks. -Develop and support web based applications using JSON, XML, JavaScript and CSS. -Create, review, and maintain all required technical documentation/ manuals related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse
Qualifications: -2+ years of Software Engineering or related experience. -Strong, hands-on experience with dynamic front-end technologies GSP (any type of experience--specifically a project), HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, AJAX frameworks. - -Demonstrated experience with web applications. -Ideal candidate would have experience with server side technology also. Experience with Java, Groovy, Solr and Database is big plus.
