Reporting to the Service Manager, the General Foreman of Shovels organizes, directs and supervises all shovel technical support services.
The Role:
Coordinates all Komatsu Hydraulic Excavators repairs and builds while working with customers to implement mechanical best practices.
Ensures timely completion and proper tracking of factory campaigns.
Ensures compliance with safety rules and regulations to minimize industrial injuries and meet regulatory requirements.
Keeps current on information and technology affecting the functional area to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
Provides leadership and guidance to Supervisors.
Maintains a constructive and professional working relationship with internal and external customers and manufacturers.
Qualifications required:
Knowledge of hydraulic maintenance and repair of Komatsu equipment.
Heavy Equipment certification and previous supervisory experience.
Minimum 5-7 years trade experience.
Strong ability to plan, develop and coordinate detailed phases of mechanical functions.
Knowledge of OH&S acts and regulations and equipment inspection requirements.
