Global Supply Chain Manager

This is a key, highly visible position with significant ability to impact the financial results of the entire Kimball Electronics organization.  Must be a US citizen or permanent resident alien to apply.  This role can be located remotely throughout the US.  Successfully completing assigned objectives will result in recognition opportunities.  This position will interact with key leaders across the organization from President to Materials Management teams at the various KEG facilities.  The opportunity to travel to both US and foreign business units and supply partners exists – up to 30%.Key Performance Objectives

Within 0-6 months:
§   Own and Lead Global Commodity Quote Process
§   Extract data set needed for commodities being quoted (this is an 8 week process on average)
§   Perform 5 sets annually
§   Work with KEG IT to improve data pull time/quality
§   Work with sites to verify last price paid, source vendor, & VMI, etc…
§   Eliminate parts with No Demand, EOL Programs, etc…
§   Run data set against database and Lytica tool to refine best price targets
§   Set due dates for each quote package
§   Work with sites and supply base to quote each package
§   Consolidate quote inputs from suppliers, QuoteWin, and Sites
§   Analyze quote data set to determine best TCO opportunity
§   Supply sites with Quoted Package with Global Guidance so the sites can determine final awards
§   Finalize Awards based on Site Input/Decisions
§   Work with Sites & Suppliers to communicate Award Packages
§   Summarize Commodity Set Savings & Communicate Summary
§   Work with Sites & Suppliers to Implement Awards
§   Track monthly reporting on Implementation of Awards
§   Facilitate the Lytica Spend Analysis Tool Implementation
§   Upon implementation - Process information 4 times per year
§   Upon implementation - Extract complete Active Part data set
§   Cleanse Data to represent only active parts
§   Clean up Last buy data
§   Eliminate broker/premium buys
§   Transfer to Lytica Template format
§   Analyze Lytica detailed review of KEG Spend for opportunities
§   Communicate Lytica Detailed Reports
§   Work with sites to optimize opportunities identified within Lytica data

Within 0-12 months:
§   Co-Lead Conflict Minerals Initiative with Finance
§   Lead Minority/Diversified Supplier Development
§   Manage Database of Spend Information
§   Perform other duties as assigned 

Key Knowledge / Experience Required:
§   Supply Chain Negotiation experience (5 yrs minimum, global preferred)
§   Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry experience (5 yrs minimum)
§   Functional knowledge of database management (data mining)
§   Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
§   Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access
