Job Summary

Responsibilities include Electrical and Fluids controls system design, specification, and start up assistance of a complete system or complete line.  Powertrain Assembly Experince is required.  Mitsubishi PLC and Profibus Controls Architecture required

Job Description

Manage work and output of a team of control engineers & designers while also interfacing with other departments.  Design controls systems from concept through completion. Lead hardware or software design team for automated machinery including determining hardware and software design approaches and parameters.  Construct electrical and Fluid schematic packages by laying out I/O, designing the magnetics circuits, fusing, control panel layouts, bill of material and cable layouts. Detail hardware schematics on AutoCAD including: lube, hydraulic, pneumatic and water schematics. Modify and detail pneumatic systems under the supervision of the Controls Project Engineer.

Design fuel delivery systems, air test circuits, high and low voltage machine controls circuits, interlocks and cable interconnections

May be required to travel to customer site to assist in the installation/start-up and final machine acceptance. Will be required to work both independently and within a team environment

Required Skills

Experience with HMI & Robot Vision or SCADA programming & configuration

Knowledge of programming languages used for robots, servos, databases

Experience in programming/debugging assembly systems
