Job Description:
This individual will represent the voice of the client in user research and testing activities, and will generate insights and recommendations that will have critical impact on the design and evolution of client's Web-based client platforms. The strategic insights and recommendations provided by this individual will impact both internal processes, as well as the design evolution of client platforms on the Web.
MUST HAVE:
· Bachelors Degree in Human Factors studies or equivalent.
· 7+ years experience working in a human factors capacity.
· Must have a self-directed approach to tasks and an expert knowledge of a variety of research methods including interviewing and observation, ethnographic techniques, experience modeling, heuristic and site audits, usability testing, survey creation, card sorting, etc.
· Expert ability to gather and analyze primary and secondary research, as well as other forms of literature, to identify gaps and insights and that can be transformed into actionable recommendations.
· Proven experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
· Strong understanding of user-centered design and ability to collaborate with team members on the development of low-fidelity prototypes that can be tested with users.
· Must be self-motivated, client experience oriented and a strong team player.
· Must be extremely detail-oriented, able to define ideas down to a specification level.
· Must present a positive, professional image. Solid leadership skills required.
· Strong project management skills; ability to plan, manage, and execute on simultaneous projects under tight deadlines in a collaborative, agency-like environment; must be able to drive project, debate merits of approach and work effectively with others.
· Excellent relationship management skills, especially interpersonal, verbal, and written communications.
· Demonstrated ability to define key success metrics for projects, incorporating measurable business objectives, revenue optimization and client experience best practices.
· Must have an online portfolio or samples of recent work (i.e., usability test findings/insights/recommendations, research samples, etc).
Preferred
· Knowledge of the financial industry.
· Experience working with the Agile methodology.
