Shared Services Operations & Finance is accountable for Sourcing, Audit, Business Continuity, Information
Security, Metrics and Finance for Personal Insurance Business Technology (PIBT). The Information Systems
Director will operate as the Division Liaison to the IT Global Sourcing Office; overseeing a small team focused
on building disciplined vendor relationships and growing capabilities within the overall Strategic Vision.
Responsibilities include contract management, external sourcing strategies, vendor capability assessments, offshore travel consultation, as well as ensuring financial, metric, business continuity, risk evaluation, IS security and audit compliance across PIBT sourcing engagements.
You will educate PIBT on external sourcing concepts; assist functional areas through the creation and execution of their Sourcing Strategy; promote adherence to best practices; manage procurement relationships; mature co-sourcing and managed service expertise, ensure operating review effectiveness, and socialize best practices.
As the Division Liaison you will be the conduit between the IT Global Sourcing Office and the division for all communications, provide quantitative and qualitative data as it relates to Global Sourcing to the enterprise, support work orders in a consultative role to the Work Order Manager (WOM), review work orders for completeness, approve work orders, designate appropriate approvers, monitor work order updates, initiate Infrastructure Reviews and monitor time management approvals.
Has a solid working knowledge of capabilities and direction of technology, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs of business environment necessary to support assigned systems and/or projects.
Partners with functional areas and IT Global Sourcing Office leads to identify and provide input into technology solutions.
