Motivated by the understanding that canine detection has the capability to prevent harm and even save lives if conducted correctly, the founder of AMK9 made it his personal mission to improve the quality and develop a set of industry standards for private canine detection companies who, at the time, were not being held to any specific standards. While working with the U.S. Military, the founder of AMK9 was able to implement Military Working Dog standards into the private canine detection industry and improve the overall quality of working dog services. Since then, AMK9 has deployed over 500 Contract Working Dog (CWD) Teams throughout the world to assist in the War Against Terror, secure federal buildings and embassies, provide disaster relief and conduct other special purpose missions. Through a focus on integrity, accountability, teamwork and professionalism, AMK9 has become one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. Our canine services are now being performed in multiple locations, in a wide variety of environments.
