Lead Network Systems Engineer
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience 8+ years
Citizenship Requirement (US Citizen)
Clearance Required TS/SCI (SSBI within last 36 months)
Location Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities include providing reliable and technically qualified performance to meet all of the service requirements and special projects requested to include providing the design, installation, operations, maintenance, system engineering and sustaining engineering for the telephone system. The telephone system covers the customer administrative telephone system, Command and Control, special C2 systems to include conferencing, alert and notification systems. Certifications are required for onsite personnel and representative tasks may include but are not limited to:
Specific Responsibilities:
o Monitor WAN Systems
o Install and repair red switch communication devices
o Issue event Intowner Kits
o Perform daily system checks
o Perform phone checks
o Review shop logs
o Respond to NEEDS/trouble ticket requests
o Operate a telecommunications network management support system (ARDIMSS)
o Operate COMSEC devices
o Generate reports
