Overall Purpose of Job: 

Primary responsibility is to lead the activities of  the Windows systems infrastructure for South America regional sites. The responsibility includes but is not limited to AD & related technology, infrastructure security, server engineering, virtualized technologies & related management systems.

Organize all the Windows environment infrastructure activities between the S/A & USA Infrastructure teams.

Frequent travel maybe required to South America sites

Essential Functions with percent of time spent and importance rating 1, 2, 3

Standardize the deployment of the windows infrastructure for S/A         15%        1

Act as an advisor to Technology staff in S/A for support & maintenance initiative of the Windows related infrastructure environment     15%        1

Participate on infrastructure Planning design and deployment efforts to ensure the all SOA processes are followed and the development of the different technology components follow standardized practices.    15%        1

Participate in a long term planning activities for S/A & provide input for technology direction and costing.              10%        1

Ensure that Audit issues properly tracked and the development of resolutions are resolved with quality and permanently                 15%        1

Introduce BTMNA standardized / proven designs to S/A infrastructure for all technology components    15%        2

Enforce the adaption of technology standards already employed in BTMNA for S/A location.  15%  2

Experience/Abilities:

·         Strong knowledge of LAN protocol and networking

·         Strong knowledge of Windows 2000/2003/2008 server and desktops

·         Strong knowledge of VDI/VMware Systems Infrastructure

·         Knowledge of Windows scripting, Citrix, VDI, Linux, UNIX

·         Project management experience - Basic knowledge of SAN environment

·         Spanish Language Capability

Education:

                College degree in Computer science, Management Information Systems or related curriculum, or equivalent experience of 5 to 7 years. Technical courses relative to responsibility.  Microsoft certification or other certification is a plus
