Manufacturing Project Engineer
This position is located in Joliet, IL area.
Salary is competitive with this industry and performance bonus is possible with full benefits and relocation.
Responsibilities:
This person will provide input and coordinate business proposal preparation activities. This person will coordinate and lead master projects for implementation of new facility start ups and major mfg system installations. This person will provide leadership to 3rd party work teams to support mfg start ups. As team leader this person will pull together cross functional team of individuals to complete project activities on time and under budget. Communicate to executive leaders project milestones and gage reviews to monitor performance. This person may be responsible for hiring their own team or 3rd party resources to complete necessary activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10yrs experience in various mfg disciplines
- Minimum education bachelor in engineering and or science degree
- Strong analytical ability, written & oral communications
- Prior experience working as large scale project manager
- Good understanding of manufacturing technologies, implementation experience of technologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in foreign countries
- Six sigma project leadership exp
- Experience working New Product Implementation (NPI) programs
- MBA degree a plus
- Demonstrated good business acumen is a MUST
