About Convertro:

What do we do? Convertro is a marketing technology company that provides today's leading brands and agencies with a SaaS marketing optimization platform and results engine that tracks and calculates the ROI of every marketing touchpoint across all media, including online (web, social, email, display, affiliate, CSE, etc.) and offline channels (broadcast television, radio, call center, print, direct mail, in-store, etc.). We then take a very results-based approach to optimization, programmatically making very granular and specific recommendations to our clients on how to improve their results. Simply put, Convertro allows users to move money from inefficient and fraudulent marketing sources to profitable ones, dramatically improving their bottom line.

How do we do it? Using numerous patent-pending technologies and remaining fully compliant with privacy and security regulations, Convertro's Customer Path Attribution tracks and measures the full path of customer interactions leading to a conversion, even across multiple devices and throughout the entire lifetime of a customer. We then credit each interaction for the role it played in that conversion (introducing, influencing, closing, etc.). Using this data and advanced regression and predictive modeling, we can programmatically surface insights and recommendations to optimize all aspects of a client's marketing, and track those recommendations and their results to further improve our system. This is a Big Data solution that uses the latest technologies and pushes the envelope of data storage and computing power. At Convertro, we've moved beyond data-driven marketing to marketing based purely on results.

What's it like to work at Convertro?

Like our software, our corporate culture is built on a results-oriented architecture.

No Suits (except maybe a swimsuit). We believe in working hard, and know that the best results come when you are comfortable, relaxed, and doing something you are passionate about.

We are light on the meetings. Our only standing meeting is a daily scrum in which you say what you accomplished yesterday and what you are going to accomplish today.

Management doesn't suck. Our founders have started and sold several companies over their careers. But they still do real work and love it. And they truly believe that this company is the one that will define their legacy.

The team is quality. Everyone at Convertro had to prove themselves through a battery of interviews or tests in order to get in. Even before we review your resume, you'll get an online series of questions so we can be sure that you know the basics and are able to communicate your strategies effectively. After that, we'll have a phone interview where we'll discuss real-world problems. Assuming all goes well, you'll meet in person with several people at our office, discuss other problems and exercises, and together we'll determine if you can add value to the team.

Not too big. Not too Small. Convertro was started in 2009 and is backed by Bessemer Ventures Partners. We are rapidly expanding, adding new employees and opening new offices around the world. We've had clients from the day we opened our doors and are continually closing new ones, so unlike many folks in the technology world, we have real revenues and they are growing.

Lifestyle. Santa Monica: We're located a mere three blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. You can bike to work, walk to work or even swim to work. You can even go kite-boarding over lunch like our VP of Engineering sometimes does.

Ra'anana: We're located in the tech community in Ra'anana, close to great food and many high tech companies.

New York: We're located close to Grand Central Station, in the heart of all that NYC has to offer.
