Mechanical Designer # JO 37240

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer for our client in Syracuse, NY. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be expected to develop new and modify existing engineering drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches and calculations.

Duties of the Mechanical Designer will include:
- Generating 3D models using SolidWorks
- Creating design documentation
- Communicating designs and changes to others by making recommendations, proposals and presentations.

Requirements include:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
- 2+ years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T design specifications
