.Net Web Developer

Generac Power Systems – Join the leader in the power industry! Our Corporate Office in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Web Developer for our Information Systems Team.

As a Web Developer, you will assist in the development and programming of web applications for Generac’s marketing websites, as well as supporting development of web systems and architecture. This position develops web application pages and modules; debugs, tests and updates existing and new applications; and assists in the development of web application design and structure.

Responsibilities:

Use Visual Studio .NET IDE to develop web applications and tools
Debug and troubleshoot new and existing web applications
Work closely with Internet Marketing Manager to communicate status of projects
Produce page layouts in collaboration with web designer
Document architecture and standards for web applications and systems
Basic Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Programming with 3 years of web programming experience. If no degree, a minimum of five years of web programming experience
2 years developing web applications in ASP.NET
Demonstrated experience level with VB.NET, JavaScript, web services, SQL Server database design and web page layout and design
Experience managing multiple projects for multiple stakeholders
Additional Skills Preferred:

Web Analytics experience (i.e. SiteCatalyst)
Content Management Systems experience (i.e. Ektron)
Working knowledge of Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0
Self-starter, detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills. Must be able to analyze code, determine problems and recommend solutions
Ability to identify and explain issues and solutions to varying levels within the organization
