North Dakota Operations Project Manager / Client Service Manager

An Engineering, Construction and Environmental Consulting Company is currently seeking a Project Manager/Client Service Manager to develop new construction and consulting business in the Willliston Basin Market.  The candidate would be expected to identify potential clients and decision makers in the O&G upstream/midstream market as well as maintain relationships with key clients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Pursue projects in the Oil and Gas sector to include Pipeline and/or Fabrication

·         Assist in the development and capture of Master Service Agreements (MSA)

·         Assist in the development of new Construction and Engineering opportunities

·         Investigates and recommends new clients

·         Ensure proposals and projects achieve appropriate profitability levels

·         Assist in building project teams

·         Assist in constructability and technical reviews

·         Attend local networking events

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Senior level position within an agency or in-house environment

·         Management background and strong field knowledge in crude and natural gas exploration, gathering, transportation and processing

·         Understanding of construction management processes and procedures across all areas of gathering and processing (specifications, inspection procedures, quality assurance programs, materials management programs, EH&S requirements, etc.)

·         Strong knowledge of the O&G procurement process

·         Results driven and focused

·         Excellent team player and proactive attitude

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

·         Minimum of 15 years experience with a major O&G company

·         Solid background in Upstream and Midstream Construction

·         Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Ability to coach and mentor others

·         Strong verbal and written communications skills
