Job Description:

Seeking Optometric Assistants to work seasonally in our busier locations throughout Florida, including Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Brandon and Orlando. These positions will begin the last week of December, 2011 and continue through April, 2011. Opportunity for long term employment. Experience in the Optometric field desired, but will consider other clerical/medical backgrounds. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Entering patient data into the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software; scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, pre-testing patients, educating the patient with proper eye care, and proper contact lens handling and taking payments.
