PHP Developer

We’re looking for an incredibly talented and passionate full-time web developer to join us at our downtown Toronto studio to work on our hit location-based zombie apocalypse game.

Responsible for:

  Creating and maintaining web services for our Internal API
  Fixing bugs reported by the lead developers and the game testers
  Developing tools for managing the game content (PHP preferred)
  Developing automation tools to help with migration to production
  Creating unit tests to verify the service health of the whole API
  Optimize current PHP Web services
  Creating and maintaining database tables
Skills

Skills required:

  Strong PHP development skills
  MySQL experience required
  Web tools / application development experience required
  OO PHP skills is a major plus
  Knowledge of PHP design patterns is a plus
  Knowledge of Github and Pivotal Tracker is a plus
  Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  Strong analytical skills
  Excellent teamworks skills and ability to assist other team members in problem solving
  Able to be highly flexible to quickly changing business needs and game requirements
  Able to handle multiple tasks with minimal oversight

Awesome if you have:

  Amazon AWS, EC2 and S3 experience
  have experience designing or developing games and love games in general
  have experience developing for mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, mobile web)
