LOCATION: Honolulu Hawaii
RESPONSIBILITIES: Fabrication of Silicon photonic-electronic integrated circuits.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide lithography leadership in sub micron photolithography projects for photonics-electronics integration. Process development, control and transfer to manufacturing, using an ASML Microscan II stepper and other clean room equipment. The job requires in depth expertise with sub micron lithography equipment operation, process regimes, positive and negative resists; statistical process control using JMP software and related metrology. Provide hands on processing, technical consultation to design teams and proactive participation in process integration. Monitor material purchasing for development and production along with equipment maintenance schedules.
APIC Corporation, Advanced Photonic Integrated Circuits is pioneering highly integrated photonics. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Culver City, CA (minutes from LAX) we have branch locations across the country, including Washington, DC; Albany, NY; Boston, MA; Melbourne, FL; and Palo Alto, CA; with a wholly-owned subsidiary in Honolulu, HI.
To deliver monolithically integrated photonic-electronic circuits, microprocessors, and reconfigurable fiber network technology with high bandwidth, high dynamic range, and low power in designing, developing, and testing III-V electro-optic components and systems for use microwave photonics applications.
APIC Corporation is replacing electron-based signal transmission with end-to-end photonics. Designing highly reliable laser and photo detector assemblies for analogue and digital signaling packaged in small form factor, custom modules for RF over Fiber, long-haul transmission, and other networking applications for telecom, and data-com.
