Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Nurse

Nevada Health Centers, Inc. (NVHC) is a federally funded, community health center that has been providing health services throughout the state of Nevada for 30 years. We presently have over twenty medical and dental centers and other health related programs. Nevada Health Centers is recruiting for a Family Practice PA/NP for its outpatient clinic located in Eureka, Nevada. This Clinic serves a population of about 1,900, and incorporates all aspects of Family Medicine. The Eureka Clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is staffed by one physician and one physician assistant, and employs a support staff of four.

Our FQHC status offers eligibility for NHSC loan repayment and professional liability coverage under Federal Tort Claim Act. The clinic provides family practice and pediatric services, which include well child care and immunizations, preventive care, care for illnesses, care for chronic conditions, senior health care and health education. As well, there they provide OB/GYN services that provide prenatal care and delivery and special gynecological care. As well, a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist visits the clinic once a month to assist the community with available programs. For acute care, Eureka County residents visit hospitals in nearby counties including Elko General Hospital, William Bee Ririe Hospital in Ely, and Reno-area hospitals.
