Position: Production Manager - IA #2356 Location: Central Iowa (between Des Moines and Iowa City)
Company looking for a Production Manager.
The Associate will direct the production activities in a modern sheet metal ductwork fabricating shop. That includes managing Production Associates and a small salaried staff; scheduling production and controlling inventory, shipping and maintenance; and analyzing problems and recommending improvements.
Qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or engineering technology, business or the like, with co-op or internship experience working in a fabricating plant; knowledge of plant safety requirements, including OSHA and EPA regulations, and Lean manufacturing concepts.
Must Have: 1. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or engineering technology, business or similar. 2. Experience working in a fabricating plant. 3. Knowledge of plant safety requirements, including OSHA and EPA regulations, and Lean manufacturing concepts. 4. Local or close enough for a short easy move.
