Project Manager: Contract Manufacturing (4493)

Position Overview

• preparation and execution of an RFP to select contract manufacturing suppliers
• project management/oversight of the transition

Skills/Requirements/Capabilities

• Prior experience with transitioning production operations from internal to external manufacturing
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Ability to define specifications for contract manufacturers from BOMs, client documents, and stakeholder interviewers
• Ability to write an RFP for contract manufacturing and manage the negotiations/selection process
• Demonstrated project management experience

Project Start Date and Duration

• Start date: 2nd or 3rd week of July
• End date: Nov/Dec timeframe

Client Location and On-Site Requirements

• Location: NY-CT area
• On-site requirements: Flexible -- much of the work can be virtual but resource will be expected to be on-site for client reviews and critical meetings
• Some travel required to contract manufacturing sites during latter stages of project: expected to be in NE and SE
