Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Collegial 'employee-centered' psychiatric group seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work with a geriatric population!

Job Description: 
Nursing homes near Baltimore.  Ages of patients: 40 and up, mostly 65 and up. 1 hour evaluations, routine follow ups 20 minutes.   Illnesses include: Dementia, depression, some bipolar and schizophrenia.  Mon-Friday-flexible schedule-no set hours. On-call only 3 weeks/year. 

Group works to provide a quality multidisciplinary approach to mental health care in long term care facilities. Its team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and nurse clinicians work as a team in conjunction with the nursing home to: Provide mental health treatment for problems arising with individual residents or families - Participate in nursing and rehabilitation planning - Provide expertise with regard to state and federal rules and regulations.
 
Requirements: 
Psychiatric certified Nurse Practitioner

Compensation: 
Up to $135,000 per year.
