Job Description:
We have an immediate need for a Quality Control Manager.
Metal Fabricating Shop needs an experienced QC Inspector who has worked with Aluminum, Steel / Stainless Steel.
Engineering knowledge / skills very helpful.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of between 2 to 5 plus years experience as a supervisor and performing first-piece, in-process and final inspection of precision parts.
Occasional lifting is required – not more than 15 pounds.
Accurately completes all required documentation including Certificates of Compliance, Inspection Method Sheets and First Article Reports.
Ability to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, and formulas, and demonstrate competence in the use of precision measuring instruments such as dial bore gages, OD and ID micrometers, indicators, and coordinate measuring equipment.
Verifies specified dimensions of product or material using a verity of standard inspection tools such as micrometers, indicators and calipers.
Calibrates inspection tools to known standards.
Salary based on experience.
