.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company is seeking a Blend Maintenance Scientist to support the development of tobacco products consistent with RJRT's Growth, Innovation, and Harm Reduction Platforms.

The Blend Maintenance Scientist must maintain existing products, provide inventory management guidance, and create forecasts to support the base cigarette business, harm reduction programs, and smokeless tobacco programs. 

The Blend Maintenance Scientist must have strong inventory management skills and practice excellent forecasting skills. The incumbent must be capable of solving complex problems and possess the ability to establish relationships and collaborate across numerous functional areas. The Blend Maintenance Scientist must be able to communicate effectively with peers and management, and with external agencies.

Job Qualifications:

• BA/ BS required, Statistics or related degree preferred. Master's degree preferred. Experience in tobacco preferred.
• A minimum of three years relevant experience in inventory management and / or forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as strong statistical knowledge.
• Proficiency in computer based applications is required, and prior experience using SAP is a plus.
