In 2002, Dr Will Egner, Peter Griffith and Neil Franklin collaborated to form Cerion Optimization Services in Dallas Texas. Our focus began with the fixed part of the network from the base station to the PSTN/Internet, because much attention had already been given to the air interface and radio aspects.
Little specialization had been directed to the end-to-end fixed network and we believed that a lack of optimization in this area was costing carriers and investors billions of dollars. To address this problem we merged the complex world of pure mathematics and cutting edge wireless expertise.
The result was the development of a series of proprietary methodologies which have now been proven to enhance performance and have released over $300 million of stranded investor capital.
