Futurecare Cold Spring is seeking an RN Evening Shift Supervisor.

A professional nurse who is a member of the nursing leadership staff.  Primary

responsibility is supervision of all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift.  Duties involve assessing staffing and resident needs and

directing care.  Works predominately with an adult geriatric population.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following tasks and assignments: 

Clinical:  Serves as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care.  Supervises clinical aspects of nursing.

Leadership:  Manages day to day operations of Nursing Department

Communications: Interfaces with others to insure efficient unit operations.   

Professional Development: Seek opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency.

Requirements
 

1. Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
2. Progressive experience in an acute or long term care setting with proven leadership ability.
3. Certification in Geriatric Nursing preferred.
