Lionce is currently recruiting for a Web Developer for a great opportunity with one of our partners in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full time position with a pay rate up to $65,000 a year for junior level and $90,000 a year for senior level. For this particular role, our client is only considering either US Citizens or Permanent Residents (either EAD or Green Card).
The client is looking for several Ruby on Rails software engineers and web developer to fill immediate positions in the Pittsburgh office. We are aggressively growing our alternative browser & device business (iPhone, iPad, etc.) and deploying Responsive Design solutions for virtually all projects. Our technology stack includes MySQL, Git, jQuery, OS X, Linux, Ruby, Rails, a mixture of RSpec and Test::Unit, and AWS / EC2 / Puppet. These are positions in which self-starters and people passionate about the Web will thrive.

Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality Web applications while improving and maintaining an existing MVC code base in Ruby on Rails
Develop high-quality Web software in a collaborative environment with a team of talented designers
The ideal candidate will:
Be well-versed in object-oriented programming and have intermediate- to expert-level skills in Ruby
Not be afraid to write SQL queries
Care about building well-designed, user-centric software
Excel in an open, fast-paced work environment
Have experience creating applications in Ruby and want to learn
Have a GitHub account for us to review (please put the link in your resume)
Keep themselves up to date on the newest trends, tools, and languages
Understands the value of open source software and not afraid to contribute
Experience in the following a plus:
Ruby on Rails
Sass and CoffeeScript
Mastery of a Javascript framework (jQuery, Backbone, Ember, etc.)
MySQL
Apache, Nginx
Git, Github
Linux system administration
Understand the necessity to write good tests with RSpec / Test::Unit
