Ascendgence is a boutique Katy, TX, SEO company seeking an experienced SEO Manager that can quickly learn our methodology. The SEO Manager position requires someone with an advanced knowledge of search engine optimization and strong project management skills to manage the campaigns of various clients. Additionally, an in-depth understanding of, and talent for link development is required for this position. This is an in-house, full time position with advancement opportunities as the company grows.
Required Skills

Familiarity with both Google and Bing Webmaster Tools
Keyword research skills
On site search engine optimization knowledge
An understanding of site architecture as it relates to internal linking and SEO
Link building skills for marketing and SEO purposes
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Basic HTML skills as they pertain to SEO
Client management skills
Project management skills
Great organizational skills
Excellent phone skills
The ability to work well alone or in a group setting
3+ years of experience working within the SEO industry

The following skills are not required for this position, but would be added positive attributes for any candidate:

Familiarity with Raven Tools
A working knowledge of WordPress

Responsibilities

Executing client search engine optimization strategies as defined by our Senior SEO Strategist
Overseeing execution of those SEO strategies (when needed) by the supportive members of our SEO team
Executing client link building strategies as defined by our Senior SEO Strategist
Overseeing execution of those link building strategies (when needed) by the supportive members of our SEO team
Identifying additional link development opportunities for client campaigns
Monitoring of SEO efforts for each client for which you are assigned project manager
Reporting of SEO efforts for each client for which you are assigned project manager
Explaining the reporting and results of the SEO campaigns you manage during client calls

Salary

Salary for this position ranges from $42,000 - $62,000 per year, based on experience.
