Background
TaskUs was founded in 2009, and has grown from an organization of two business partners, to over 230 employees in the Philippines, with a lean and mean executive team of five in Santa Monica. TaskUs offers business process outsourcing solutions for the world's most innovative Internet companies.

The Opportunity
We are looking to hire an all star sales person join our team in Santa Monica. This person will head up all of our sales efforts, connecting with current and future prospects to grow our business.

This role has two major components - first is researching new companies to find leads. TaskUs offers outsourced staffing of entry level employees, so our service offering is broad. Some of our popular services include data entry, transcription, outbound calling, online research and content creation. Because there are so many things we can do, and so many companies we can work for, identifying good companies to work with is half the battle. Knowledge of the start-up ecosystem, Venture Capital and trends in the internet is vital.

Once leads have been gathered the real sales process begins. This includes cold calls, visiting prospects in person, and developing proposals. Travel to conferences with the CEO and President about 5 times a year is also required.

Position Requirements
- 4 year University education
- 2 years or more of experience in business development or sales
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Experience working with off shore teams is a plus
- Familiarity with common Internet technologies
- Familiarity with managing a CRM system
