Senior Business Intelligence Developer This is what we need to see on a resume: -Significant experience with
- SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
- T-SQL and Stored Procedure coding abilities
- ETL processes, reporting, dashboards, etc.
Job Description Responsibilities Include:
-Responsible for all aspects of Rodale’s BI solution including requirements gathering/analysis, dimensional modeling/development, and the design/development/maintenance of ETL processes, reporting, dashboards, etc.
-Develop and document technology roadmap collaborating with business and IT management.
-Prioritizing business needs and formulating plans to deliver on those commitments.
-Configure and optimize BI Environment, which includes relational and OLAP layers, and data integration components.
-Work in a data warehouse environment, which includes data architecture and data modeling.
-Work to provide accurate, meaningful, and organized data for consumption by business analysts.
Ideal candidate will possess:
-Demonstrated Leadership and team working skills, proven analytical ability, life-long learner with excellent written and oral communications skills.
-Experience with SQL Server Business Intelligence stack (minimum SQL 2005) including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
-Demonstrated experience building cubes and reports that take advantage of OLAP/Dimensional Modeling capabilities. Strong foundation and understanding of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP, familiarity with the Kimball Method highly desirable.
-Experience with MDX, MS SharePoint, and Excel Pivots highly preferred.
-Strong T-SQL and Stored Procedure coding abilities and data optimization with large data warehouses.
-Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred. Microsoft SQL Server Certifications a plus
-Experience with eCommerce, Web Analytics, or Digital Publishing a plus.
-Minimum of 5+ years of experience with supporting Business Intelligence functions within an organization.
-Desire or experience to evaluate open-sourced and cloud based BI tools.
