Senior ETL Developer - Contract to Hire

Taking over the existing Informatica processes and designing and coding for the new processes ensuring high quality as well as enhancing the existing one. Responsible for writing technical design documents and follow the software development life cycle and coding standards. Require understanding the problems user or business is facing with the business data and processes and find ways to correct them. Responsible for understanding of existing Informatica processes and find out ways to tune/improve them
 

Support the business groups by resolving issues and providing guidance and feedback to the user. Require consistent and frequent updates to immediate manager about the project status and concerns, also to other project team members on a need bases.

• Perform the role of a Senior Developer based on Agile methodologies
• Implement solutions considering accuracy, efficiency and reusability
• Design the technical solution, effort estimates and costs for internal and external systems integration needs based on business requirements
• Support QA/UAT support and defect resolution
• Deployment coordination, including seeking Change Management approvals and build management

• Respond to support tickets and resolve issues based on the urgency and the importance of the issue

• Handle business and user inquires about data and processes

• Application development technologies

• • At least 5 years of working with Informatica Power Center
  • Experience with Unix Shell
  • Experience working with Unix, Linux and Windows platforms
  • Experience with tools like Data Profiling or Data Cleansing
  • Familiarity with any BI tool
• Database skills
  • Experience with RDBMS concepts and data modeling
  • Experience in developing SQL scripts and stored procedures in Oracle or DB2
• Design and Architecture
  • Good understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
  • Experience in working with high volume data load is a plus
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle and coding standards
  • Experience in creating requirements, analysis, design and deployment documents based on Agile development methods
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus
