Senior Electric Drive System Engineer
Possible locates of this position are in Peoria, Mossville, Decatur Illinois.
This position has a competitive salary base that with performance bonus and relocation package for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of control systems and electrical machinery
- Engineering experience with design and improvements to products involving electromechanical components and complex control systems
- Familiarity with power electronics
- Experience with system modeling for electromechanical systems
- Experience with Matlab / Simulink or other similar tools for system modeling, control system design and analysis
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in an Engineering field.
Industrial Experience:
- Project management experience
- Experience with Electric Drive traction and control systems.
- Electric Drive traction experience with mining, rail or heavy machinery
- Knowledge and Experience with APQP, 6 sigma or related quality processes.
- Experience with design specifications documentation.
- Experience with New Technology and New Product Introduction life cycle
- Experience in working with suppliers and customers.
- Project leadership experience for design, packaging, manufacturing, and cost management
Minimum Requirements:
* All serious candidates must have at least 3 years of engineering work experience.
* All candidates must have received a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering field at an accredited school.
* All candidates must have legal authorized to work in the United States.
